Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the result of Computer Based Test (CBT) for General Duty (GD) Constable Recruitment 2021 held from 16 November 2021 to 15 December 2021. The commission has released the result of this examination on 25 March 2022. SSC has released the final answer key of this exam and now the marks of the candidates have also been released on its website. A total of 2,85,201 candidates have been declared successful in the CBT of this recruitment. These candidates will now have to appear in Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) to get selected in this recruitment. The nature of PET and PST is only qualifying:
The PET and PST to be conducted for this recruitment is only qualifying in nature and all the candidates who meet the prescribed criteria will be declared successful in it. During the PET of GD constable recruitment, male candidates will have to run 5 km in 24 minutes and female candidates will have to run 1.6 km in 8 minutes 30 seconds. How the candidates will be shortlisted for Medical and DV:
After successful in the PET and PST of this recruitment, the candidates will have to appear in the Medical Test and Document Verification (DV). In GD Constable Recruitment, PET and PST are of qualifying nature only, hence SSC will shortlist candidates for Medical Test and DV in another way. Actually the commission will prepare the merit list of the successful candidates in PET and PST on the basis of their Computer Based Test (CBT) marks. From this merit list, the commission may call three times the total number of vacancies candidates for medical test and DV.
