About NEET:

As per the directives of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Ordinances promulgated by the Central Government NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG), 2021 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Exam Date:

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY ENTRANCE TEST [UG] 2021-22 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. CBSE will conduct NEET UG Exam for admission of MBBS/ BDS in Sept 2021

NEET Exam Date:- 12 Sept. 2021

Entrance Exam Pattern:

Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options and single correct answer/best option
Duration: 03 Hours (02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.)

Important Note:

  1. Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
  2. For each correct answer/best option, candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
  3. For each incorrect answer, 01(one) mark will be deducted from the total score.
  4. To answer a question, the candidate has to find, for each question, the correct answer/ best option.
  5. However, after the process of challenge of key, if more than one option is found to be correct then all/any one of the multiple correct/best options marked will be given four marks (+4). Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1). Unanswered/Unattempt questions will be given no marks. In case, a question is dropped/ ignored, all candidates will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

Duration of Test:

The duration of test would be three (03) hours.

Medium of the Question Papers:

Candidates can opt for Question Paper in any one of the following 11 languages.

English Hindi Assamese Bengali Gujarati Kannada
Marathi Odia Tamil Telugu Urdu
  • Option of medium of Question Paper should be carefully chosen while filling in the Application Form. The option once chosen cannot be changed.
  • Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only.
  • Candidates opting for Hindi would be provided Bilingual Test Booklet in English and Hindi.
  • Candidates opting for Regional languages would also be provided Bilingual Test Booklet in selected Regional language and English.
  • In case of any ambiguity in translation of a question in the test, its English version shall be treated as final and the decision of NTA shall be final in this regard.

About NEET UG Admit Card:

The CBSE will provide the facility of downloading NEET Admit Card 2021 on the Board’s website along with a format for affixing of Postcard size photograph. NEET II Admit Cards are available now for Download. Candidates are required to download the admit cards from the website and follow the instructions given therein. Candidate may please note that admit cards will not be sent by the post. The Admit Card will bear the candidate’s Roll Number, Name, Father’s Name, Category, Sub-Category, Photograph, Signature, Date of Birth, Language of Question Paper with Name and Address of examination center allotted.

The candidate should carefully examine the Admit Card downloaded by him/her for all the entries made therein. The candidate must show, on demand, the Admit Card for admission in the Examination Hall. A candidate who does not possess the valid Admit Card shall not be admitted to the Examination Hall under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent. But CBSE did not issue the NEET Admit Card so all the candidates are advised to regularly check the website for NEET Admit Card & any further updates.

How to NEET UG Download Admit Card:

  • Visit the Official website of NEET
  • Click on the link “Click Here for Login”.
  • Now, you have to log in with “Application Number” & “Password”.
  • Click on the “Login” button.
  • The admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Download the admit card.
  • Keep the printout of the admit card for further reference.
