Details of Vacancy :

  • Junior Clerk cum Copyist – 19 Posts
  • Stenographer Grade-III – 03 Posts
  • Junior Typist – 04 Posts

Age Limit :

The candidate shall be over 18 years and below 32 years of age on the last date fixed for receipt of applications by the District Recruitment Committee. Provided that, the upper age limit in respect of reserved categories of candidates shall be relaxed in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Acts, Rules, Orders or instructions for the time being in force, for the respective reserved categories.

Pay Scale :

  • Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist – Rs.19,900 to 63,200/-
  • Stenographer Grade-III – Rs.25,500 to 81,100/-
  • Junior Typist – Rs.19,900 to 63,200/-

Education Qualification :

(a) Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist:

  1. The candidate shall have passed at least +2 Examination conducted by the council constituted under Section 3 of the Orissa Higher Secondary Education Act 1982 or equivalent examination of a recognized Council, Board or University, as the case may be;
  2. The candidate shall have passed at least Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Institute.

(b) Grade-III Stenographer:

  1. The candidate shall have passed at least +2 Examination conducted by the council constituted under Section 3 of the Orissa Higher Secondary Education Act 1982 or equivalent examination of a recognized Council, Board or University, as the case may be;
  2. The candidate shall have passed at least Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Institute.
  3. The candidate shall possess minimum speed of 80 words in short hand and 40 words in type writing per minute.

(c) Junior Typist :

  1. The candidate shall have passed at least +2 Examination conducted by the council constituted under Section 3 of the Orissa Higher Secondary Education Act 1982 or equivalent examination of a recognized Council, Board or University, as the case may be;
  2. The candidate shall have passed at least Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Institute.
  3. The candidate shall possess minimum speed of 40 words per minute in type writing.

Note: The candidate shall be able to speak, read and write Oriya and have passed a test in Oriya equivalent to the M.E. standard.

Application Fee :

The candidates are required to deposit fees of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred) only.

Mode Of Payment :

Fee can be paid in the shape of Treasury Challan under the head “0070-Other Administrative Services-01-Administration of Justice-501-Services and Service Fees-9904650-Law Department-9916730-Examination Fees for Recruitment conducted by Orissa District & Sub-Ordinate Courts” along with their application forms

How to Apply :

The application with the required documents and self attested copies of certificates must reach the office of the District Judge, Jagatsinghpur to the address “DISTRICT JUDGE, MAYURBHANJ, AT/PO- BARIPADA, DIST- MAYURBHANJ, ODISHA, PIN- 757001” on or before 27.10.2021 by 5.00 P.M positively either by post or in person during Office hours on each working day. Applications received in the Office after the last date by any means shall be summarily rejected.

Note: The candidates have to mention the name of the post for which he/she is applying on the top of the Envelope as well as on the top of the Application form in CAPITAL LETTER.

List of documents to he submitted by the candidates along with the application :

  1. Copy of Certificate of H.S.C. or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Mark Sheet.
  2. Copy of certificates of +2 Examination or equivalent Examination of a recognized council, Board or University with Mark Sheet.
  3. Copy of Certificate of Diploma in Computer application from a registered institute.
  4. Copy of Typewriting Certificate & Short Hand Certificate (in case of the candidates applying for Grade-III Stenographer).
  5. Copy of Typewriting Certificate (in case of the candidates applying for Junior Typist).
  6. Original Treasury Challan showing deposit of fee for recruitment examination, other than S.C. and S.T. candidate.
  7. Copy of Caste certificate if belongs to S.C./S.T./S.E.B.C.
  8. Copy of Medical Certificate issued by the Competent Medical Authority/ Board in case Physically/ Orthopedically Handicapped.
  9. Two Self addressed postal envelops duly stamped worth Rs. 22/- (Twenty-two) each.
  10. Copy of Employment Exchange Registration Card.
  11. Two Character Certificates issued by two different gazetted officers/medical practitioner/Sarpanch etc.
  12. Two attested copies of recent passport size colour photographs.
  13. Separate applications for more than one post are to be filed by the candidates.
  14. Certificate showing passing of Odia as a subject equivalent to M.E. Standard
