About CSIR NCL JSA Recruitment :

National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) has Invited the Applicant for the Vacant 27 Posts of Junior Secretariat Assistant, Junior Stenographer under Administrative positions and Driver positions. About Exam :

Candidates who applied online will be called for examination. The dates of examination will be notified soon.

Selection Process :

For The Posts of JSA & Junior Stenographer

  • Recruitment to these posts shall be made on the basis of result of open competitive written examination and proficiency in computer typing speed and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time.
  • Proficiency in computer typing speed and in using computer will only be qualifying in nature.
  • The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.

For The Post of Driver

  • As per the CSIR Recruitment Rules for the post of Driver, eligible candidates applying for the post of Driver will be invited for skill test.
  • Those who qualify in the skill test will be invited for a written examination.
  • The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus :

Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

Junior Secretariat Assistant

  • Exam Will be Objective Type.
  • There will be two papers (Paper – I, & Paper – II).
  • The Paper – II will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper-I.
  • The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except the questions on English Language.
  • Standard of Exam Will be Class XII.
  • Total No. of Questions Will be 200.
  • Total Time Allotted Will be 2 hours 30 minutes.

Paper- I (Time Allotted – 90 Minutes)

Paper- II (Time Allotted – 1 hour)

Driver

Those candidates who quaify the skill test will be allowed to appear for the written test.

  • Exam Will be Objective Type.
  • There will be one paper in the Written Test.
  • The questions will be set in English, Hindi and Marathi except the questions on English Language.
  • Standard of Exam Will be Class 10th.
  • Total No. of Questions Will be 100.
  • Total Time Allotted Will be 90 minutes.
