For the first phase, the CM has approved a budget of Rs 3 crore and further will be decided once the first phase work is completed. We are planning to develop Saraswati riverfront in such a manner that the tourist including the religious coming from the Delhi side that visits Amritsar in Punjab also visits Kurukshetra in Haryana.”
Dhuman said that the Saraswati channel has been completely cleaned before the monsoon season by the HSHDB.
“Since last two days, the rainwater is running smoothly in Saraswati channel.
