About ASRB NET ARS STO Recruitment :

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board has Recently Announced and Invited the Online Applications from the Eligible Candidates for the Exam of NET-2021, ARS-2021 (Preliminary) and Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T6) Examination. The total number of Vacancies for these Posts were 287 Posts Posts. Many Interested and Eligible Candidates applied for these Posts online. The Process of Submission of Online Applications for these Posts was commenced from 05.04.2021 (10.00 AM) and Last Date to Apply for these Posts was 25.04.2021 (05.00 PM). About Exam :

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board will soon conduct the Written Exam for  NET-2021, ARS-2021 (Preliminary) and Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T6) Examination on 23rd August to 27th August, 2021.

Selection Process :

• Preliminary Written Exam.
• Mains Written Exam.
• Viva Voce.

National Eligibility Test (NET) :

Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

Exam Pattern :

• Exam Will be Objective Type.
• Questions will be in the form of MCQs.
• Total Number of Questions will be 150 questions.
• Maximum Marks for this exam will be 150 marks.
• Every Question will be of 1 mark each.
• Time allocated for this exam will be of 2 hours.
• 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Questions in the Examination will be available in bilingual form i.e. Hindi and English medium.
• The standard of paper will be that of a Master’s degree of an Indian University in the relevant Discipline.

Minimum marks required for qualifying NET-2021 :

Agricultural Research Service (ARS) :

• Exam Will be Objective Type.
• Questions will be in the form of MCQs.
• Total Number of Questions will be 150 questions.
• Maximum Marks for this exam will be 150 marks.
• Every Question will be of 1 mark each.
• Time allocated for this exam will be of 2 hours.
• 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Questions in the Examination will be available in bilingual form i.e. Hindi and English medium.
• The standard of paper will be that of a Master’s degree of an Indian University in the relevant Discipline.

Minimum Qualifying Marks :

Viva – Voce :

• The candidates will be interviewed by a Board of competent and unbiased experts in the respective disciplines, who will have before them a record of his/her career. The object  of the viva-voce is to assess his/her suitability for the Service for which he/she has competed. The viva-voce is intended to supplement the written examination for testing the general and specialized knowledge and abilities of the candidate. The candidate will be expected to have taken an intelligent interest not only in his/her own state or country, but also in modern current of thought and in new discoveries, which should rouse the curiosity of well-educated youth.
• The technique of the viva-voce is not that of strict cross-examination, but of a natural, though directed and purposive conversation intended to reveal the candidate’s mental qualities and his/her grasp of problems. The Board will pay special attention to assessing the intellectual curiosity, critical powers of assimilation, balance of judgment and alertness of mind, the ability for social cohesion, integrity of character, initiative and capacity for leadership and scientific research.

Senior Technical Officer (STO) :
