Online Applications are invited from Indian citizens, both male and female, for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Force Medical Services 2021. Check Details from Below.

Details of Armed Force Medical Services Vacancy :

Army Armed Force Medical Services : 200 Posts (180 Males + 20 Females)

Age Limit :

Candidate age should be less than 30 years for MBBS/Diploma holder and 35 years for Post Graduate degree holder as on 31st December 2021.

Pay Scale :

Civilian Dental surgeons on commission in AD Corps will be granted rank of Captain in the pay scale, Level 10 B (Rs 61,300-1,93,900) of Defence Pay Matrix as elaborated in Army Pay Rules-2017 (7th Pay Commission). They will be entitled to Military Service Pay (MSP) of Rs. 15,500/- per month, Non Practicing Allowance (NPA) at the rate of 20% of Basic Pay.

Educational Qualification :

Short Service Commission in Army Dental Corps is open to candidates possessing requisite qualifications, BDS/ MDS from a College/ University recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The college should be recognized for the respective batch/year in which the candidate has graduated. Candidates must have registered themselves as Registered Dental Practitioners with any State Dental Council. Candidates should have secured a mandatory min of 55% marks in final year BDS* (aggregate of all subjects)/ should have a MDS Degree.

Application Fee :

Candidates are required to make online payment of Rs 200/- (Rs Two Hundred Only), online towards DGAFMS (APF Fund) along with the application. It is to be ensured while making the online payment that all details are correctly entered before submission of the application.

Candidates are advised to log on to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in select the option ‘Armed Force Medical Services’ under ‘Officers Selection’ or use the following link http://amcsscentry.gov.in/ and submit the application online (Only online applications will be accepted). Candidates are advised to read the Info Brochure carefully before filling the application form.

Can I apply if my age as on 31 Dec of this year is more than 45 years?

Can I use Mr / Shri / Dr or any other salutations with my father’s name?

No. Salutations are not required while entering the father’s name in the form.

Date of passing MBBS is the date on which I cleared the final MBBS exam or the date of completion of Internship?

The date of passing MBBS is the date on which the candidate cleared his/her final MBBS exam.

I have passed final MBBS-Part I in 1st attempt and final MBBS-Part II in 2nd attempt. Can I apply?

Yes. Applicant should have passed Part-I and Part-II of the final MBBS exam in maximum of 2 attempts each.

I have the attempt certificate in which passing of Part-I and Part-II of the final MBBS exam has been mentioned in the same certificate. Can I use the same certificate at both the places for upload?

Yes. If the attempt certificate mentions both the Parts of final MMBS exams in the same certificate, it needs to be uploaded at both the places.

I am a Post Graduate (MD/MS/Diploma). Can I apply?

Yes. The relevant degrees and subjects need to be filled in the form. A maximum of three (03) Post Graduate qualifications can be entered. If more than three (03) qualifications are there, then the relevant copies and original can also be brought to the interview for verification.

I got the Demand Draft made from the bank and the issue date is before the date of opening of registrations. Will my application be considered with that Demand Draft?

No. The date of issue of Demand Draft has to be between the date of opening and date of closing of Registration Process.
